Joanne Cash today launched an initiative to 'Wipe out Westbourne Crime' as part of her Safer Neighbourhoods campaign.
Many local residents have contacted Joanne asking for her help with problems relating to prostitution, drug dealing, car break-ins and theft around the Westbourne Park Road area. In 2008 Westbourne had more recorded cases of criminal damage and drugs offences than any other ward in Westminster North.
Residents can register their support for Joanne’s campaign by signing the petition below. With enough signatures the petition will help Joanne to make your case for more police presence and CCTV in problem areas.
Joanne also invites residents who live close to Westbourne Park Road to get in touch if they are worried about crime:
"There is an unacceptable level of crime on Westbourne Park Road and the surrounding streets. I want to sort this out.
Families should not expect to see prostitutes working outside their front doors and too many people wake up to thefts and car break-ins. I want to see increased levels of reporting, a more visible police presence and CCTV cameras where there are needed.
Anyone worried about crime in this area of Westbourne or Bayswater, or indeed anywhere in Westminster North, can contact me at any time in confidence on 020 7625 3805 or at joanne@westminsternorthconservatives.com
Together we can win."
